1992 Audi 100s Sputters at stop...

I just bought a 1992 Audi 100s, it drives great, but as soon as I come to a stop (in park or drive) It sputters pretty badly, while it sputters, the oil gauge bounces pretty badly and the oil pressure gets pretty low, my car sounds like its going to die as soon as i stop, but when i start driving again, it feels and sounds as healthy as can be....anybody know whats going on with this thing? Id really like to fix the problem before it snowballs into something I cant handle...

Omg we have the same exact problem. i got the car about idk a year ago. after about 2 months i had a problem with the oil pressure and the problem was my oil pump in the engine was broke and there for it was corroding my engine. a week later i replaced the entire engine. now i am having the problem your having. My idle is extremely low and my oil pressure gauage bounces up and down. also my car sometimes shakes like it is about to die and sometimes it does die. My check engine light comes on and im affraid my car isnt going to last much longer. but when im drving its smooth sounds fine and i have no problems.
