Default 92 Audi 100 - battery drain

My 90 audi 100 (5 cyl 2.3 liter) is draining the battery to the point where the car will not run after about 2 miles. I just put in a new alternator and battery and it still does the same thing. I can start the car and let it idle all day long and it is fine but, when I drive it that is when the problem begins. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked the Rectifier unit.
The alternator makes AC current, which is transformed to DC by the rectifier and then stored in the battery.
As you have changed the Battery and the alternator, there is only the rectifier left.
