H Everyone. Just sold my 2001 S8 and bought 2003 A8 4.2 in UK. (New S8 a little out of reach
) Fantastic value .... still getting my head around all options in MMI. Have 18 std wheels with low tread tyres so looking to buy new wheels/tyres. The VAX system looks very good and there are some s/h VAX wheels/tyres around. Does anyone know if it is a big job to fit the VAX sensor into the MMI (to monitor tyre pressures)? My MMI has no menu option for this. Thanks. John |

I have done a tyre pressure monitor system into my A8, is that the same as VAX?
It can be expensive, the parts alone for TPS from Audi come out at £1400. And the work to fit them is time consuming and fiddly. I did it because I had all the parts available from my old car to swap over.
