1st time owner - 99' A4 Quattro 2.8 5V

Just bought 1999 Black Audi A4 Quattro 5V. Needs some work on door locks, trim at bottom of doors needs replaced - rusty underneath - doors ok though, 106,000 miles, rides nice, just had clutch replaced before I bought it, paid $4,750. All window seals appear good, sunroof is water tight & works nice, can't figure out how to turn on the fog lamps, bumping noise in front brakes - first guess is a loose caliper or warped rotor, remote key will not activate the doors, key will manually lock & unlock the drivers door as well as set the alarm, it will not lock or unlock the other 3 doors, no actuator noise is heard, first guess is a fuse, don't know where they are yet, no manual with the car. foot rest on left side of clutch pedal has a hole towards the top & not sure if something is missing from that spot. Passenger front door arm rest appears to have gotten wet - maybe window left open in rain, is has shrunk and 1/3 of it has gotten hard, maybe can get new leather stitched in a auto trim shop - don't know yet. Anyone with any suggestions or comments, I would really appreciate it. I will be posting in the A4 forum. Thanks, Bob
