New 2000 S4 owner
I just bought a 2000 S4, black on black leather, moonroof, Bose, love it! 
Get this, though: The dealer was whining he made no money on the deal and produced a pretty extensive list of parts he put on the car, including a timing belt change (she's got 58,000 miles) and rear brakes. I noticed a loud noise the very next day and went to my local Audi dealer. The timing belt tensioner was installed improperly, so the tensioner pulley was doing nothing except possibly destroying it's bearing, so I had them replace it. I was lucky not to get any head damage, the shop said. I also had them do the noticably leaky rear differential gasket, and they washed the block down, as the valve cover had been done by the guy who sold it to me. Cost me $1500 to prevent that moron from touching my car again. Anyway, hi to all of you, and I know where the search button is.
