hello everyone im new to this site so please bear with me, im thinking about buying an audi a4 t sport, 1997 p reg, but it needs a new head gasket, and 2 new tyres has no tax and 6 months mot, i currently live in spain, lucky me, and the car is up for 1.300 euros which is about £1000, i love the audis a4 but do not want to be ripped off, its a lovely car and drives really nice and smooth, so tell me what do you all think????

Welcome,

I would look up the cost of having the work done then have a look at the cost of Audi's in the same spec in one of your major car sales mags to get an idea of there worth and base it on that.

Also if you do the head gasket you might as well do a Camb belt change at the same time.

thanks for getting back to me, nice car by the way, anyway i have done my homework on that the car would sell for around £2.000 there abouts anyway, and the work on the car is gonna cost, 500 euros, that includes full service, head gasket, skimmed, new cam belt,. what do u think?? it also needs a new wingmirror, do u know how much they are and are they hard to fit?? cheers sam
