Question audi A4 2005 coolant leak help?

Hi, if someone could direct me to an existing thread on this topic that would be great. I'm trying to understand how common complext coolant leaks requiring dismantling the engine to replace a hose that wraps around the engine is.

This is the the third time my car has been to the dealership in the last month - each time with a different kind of coolant leak diagnosis. Now they need my car for a week to get the parts and do a very complext repair. I am wondering what kinds of new issues can develop because of this extensive kind of surgery around the engine. Is this a common audi issue?

I would appreciate any insight you can offer. Thanks

Welcome to the forum !!

Cant say ive seen any coolant leak issues with the B7 so you may just be unlucky, but as long as Audi fix it under warranty i wouldnt worry too much

Agree, leave it to be fixed under warranty but a damned nuisance!
Never heard of coolant leaks either on B7's but there's always gotta be a first.
Hope you get it sorted soon.

I have a 2005 Audi A4 1.8T quattro (26k miles) and I have the exact same problem. My car is in for the 3rd time, for this issue and couldn't fix the issue. They replaced a bleed valve that was cracked (dont have any idea why in the hell they are using cheap plastic parts), and they also replaced plug (not sure more detailed definition). My car is in the dealer and I'm waiting to hear from them. My warranty is ending in 5 months and I have only 26k miles, and i'm extremely dissappointed with Audi (I had several other issues). Maybe the dealer in portland (Sunset Audi) isn't capable of fixing issues.
Any help anyone can provide would be great.
