Prospective S3 buyer - Newbie

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd introduce myself - Andrew

Just joined because I'm looking at getting a used S3, (99-03 shape)

Where's the best place to find a bit more about this car, spec, engine details, performance, etc (I'm hoping here's the best place)

What should I be looking out for as pa prospective buyer?

Any help much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum ...

The A3 are generally very reliable Audi's but like any car can have there niggly issues.

If you have a read through the A3 8L section of the froum you can get some idea of any problems people have had ..
