Hello everyone!
How are you guys doing!? Anyway I'm getting a new car in Nov, and I am very eager to get the A5. My only problem is that my dad says Audi from when he had one was not a reliable car. He looked at the JD power and associate and said that this was proof. If anyone can tell me if Audi is a reliable car and won't break down like a BMW(ie, electrical, transmission) in the first few weeks. Then I'd greatly appreciate it. Link here:Brand Quality Ratings | J.D. Power Anyway. I really really really LOVE the A5. Anyone know what pricing may be like? mid 30 to low 40? possibly? Thank You guys. (P.S. I signed up on audizine and out of 40 views 1 person replied. I would really appreciate if more then 1 person could help me out) Thank You ![]() |

Hi and welcome to the forum !!
Its very hard to say how reliable the new A5 is going to be as for the jd power survey not to clear which year and model Audi they quoting reliabilty issues on ?? Theres bound to be some teething problems as there is with any new model but hey you will get 3 years warranty so i wouldnt let that bother you !! With Audi you pay for the status image appeal which im sure you will agree is kicking BMW right up the butt with there styling !! Good luck with your hunt for a good A5 and come back and show us when you get it !! ![]()

welcome to the forum,as stated above surveys aren't always the best way to find out about a car.audi's are known for their reliablity if their maintnence is kept on to schedule. their electrical issues do accure but as well as with any car.i've owned my 98 audi a4 for over 3 years, and really haven't expierenced any diffuculties with the car. good luck w/ your descision making anf enjoy the forum.
