Question Want to change from Concert to Symphony

Hello All,

I am a new Audi owner. I bought a 2004 A4 1.8T. It came with a concert radio which is without the 6 disc changer and therefore the larger gap below the climate control unit. I want to upgrade to the Symphony radio, which you can find for very cheap on Ebay. I know that I will have to change the climate control unit below the radio. The harnesses are all the same.

Has anyone doen this before? Will I have to buy any other parts to secure the new radio and climate control unit in place? I am planning on getting a 2004 Symphony radio and climate control unit. Just not sure if I need to do anything else to the console to make it work.

Please help!!!

Thank you!

Vito
