Smile Hi

Hi folks. First post, just to say hello and explain why I've joined.

I have a Land Rover Discovery at the moment (hence my user ID) but having recently spent 3 months with no work (I'm self-employed) I can't really afford to run it any more so it's going to have to go, and I've been looking at Audi's to replace it.

I don't want (can't afford) to buy a dog, and I'd rather know about any potential faults and likely issues before I buy, so what better place to look than a forum comprised of owners/users rather than relying on sales people!

Thanks, T-Sport.

I'd like to get an A8, probably the 2.8 hopefully with an LPG conversion, providing I'm not going to buying in to a huge moneypit! The odd (not too) large expense now and again is acceptable - hell, even expected! - but not as an everyday event.

I don't get on with small cars (never have, it's just me) and I'm used to reasonable luxury with the Disco (leather, air, cruise, CD, heated electric seats and mirrors, heated windscreen) so I don't want to compromise my sybaritic tendencies!

I've posted a topic in the A8 section but I haven't had any replies yet!
