Cambelt Change

Hi Forum

I am an owner of an Audi A6 2.5tdi V6 with 70k miles on the clock. It is coming upto the 80k cambelt service.

I have had quotes ranging from £400 to £800 to change the cambelt. However the themore expensive quotes include changing of other belts, dampners, water pump etc. I am not a mechanically minded but thoroughly enjoy the drive.

Is it worth changing the auxillary belts, pump etc for 800 pounds ?

yea thats the normal price for the belt job, its expensive becasue of labor, its somewhat hard and annying to change the belt and everything
