Hello, I have a 99 A4 1.8T that every year I need to replace the drivers side mirror due to a bottom rust splotch. I live in the snow belt of western NY, is this due to a product flaw, bad installation or is this just the way it is? Any recommendations for a better replacement mirror?
One more current question; Ever since I took it in for brake maintainence a while back, the ABS and Brake lights flash. My mechanic says the sensor is fine and claims to have consulted the local dealer who says it sounds like a mystery. Is there anything I can do? The brakes and ABS are fine, the flashing is a pain. Thanks for any help, I look forward to participating more in the future. |
