The reverse gear on the auto box was weak when I bought the car a year ago and I syopped parking on an incline nose down. Recently the reverse gear problem reappeared on the flat and the display started flashing, then the highlight disappears and the Tiptronic isn't available, but not allthe time.
Have had the problem assessed and it appears there may be two difficulties: the ECU inside the gearbox and possibly the rear selector. BTW the A6 is 2001(51) and high mileage. Any suggestions for solution? MikeM |
