1998 A4 Driver/gps Display

Can I do anything to repair this display?

I have removed the whole instrument cluster, which was pretty easy,
then found a dry joint around the panel area. I resoldered this. I think it was
a grounding point for the display. Replacing the whole cluster into position was
dissappointing as nothing had changed! Any ideas

i hear of this happening alot
there is only one thing u can do which is replace the whole cluster
but someone is tryin to sue audi to replace them casue this happens alot
