Hi - just thought I'd say hello.

I'm currently a fervent BMW fanatic, though I'm becoming more and more disheartened by their lack of desire to make a truly "Sport" wagon. Driving my wife's M3 is pushing me over the edge and I'm considering an S4 Avant for my next vehicle.

As a musician/drum instructor/traveller, I need a car with a big rump to carry a lot of stuff. While the BMW is a blast to drive, there's just such a serious lack of power that I'm going crazy. It takes every bit of drving skill I have to keep up with my friends in their more potent bimmers...so it's looking like Audi makes the car I may be buying next.

I hope to learn much and meet some knowledgeable folk here.

Thanks and cheers!!

If you need the bootspace the A4 is not for you. Dont get me wrong, they are great cars (I' had 2 in the last 5 years) but don't expect to fit huge loads in the arse end of them because you'll be dissapointed. Thats why I've had to move up to the A6 this year but if you want van like carrying capability get a big 4x4 (or a van).
