Greetings everyone, I appreciate being a new member of this discussion area. I have been driving a 2000 A4 1.8 T, and recently traded it for a 1997 A8 4.2. I am a newbie to this kind of discussion, and hope for periodic advice and support if and when problems arise with the A8. So far I am pleased. thanks, Ray Barnes, Surrey BC Canada

Hello again and my thanks to all of you for your cordial welcome. The A8 by the way has approximately 141,000 km or 88,125 miles. I find the ride quality quite amazingly good.
