I have a 2001 A3 that has the center armrest jammed in upper position and isn't going down.
I think that the switch that made it swivel is not working, but apparently is nothing wrong with it to the feel.
Does anyone know how can I fix this or at least instructions on how to dismantle the damn thing.

Thanks,
Eduardo

have you tried spraying some lubricant oil into the mechanism.Over here in the uk we use a sray oil called wd40 which works a treat freeing up jammed or stiff metal items.
