Ash Tray

Hey, does anyone know how to get the ash tray out of a B5 S4? And, I mean the whole thing...not just the insert.

im not sure but for the B6 u have to remove the radio
if u remove it half way it is a total pain to put back in so becareful

Well, I pulled the stereo. But couldn't get to the tray with the climate control in the way.

it clips in on the b6... u have to jerk it a little no screws

ya,its easy,with the ashtray in the out position take out the coin collector and firmly pull out on the rails of the assembly.the whole plate with the tray and lighter will come out.there is only spring clips holding it in place.
