Window not moving up/down on door closing/opening on TT

Had this problem twice now. First time a dealer reset it but the second I had trouble finding someone who knew how so I decided to post the solution after eventually getting it.

Open door, key to ignition but dont start the engine, move window down to required position. Climate control off. (Not sure if this is required), push remote button key three times (2 sec each press). Switch ignition off, repeat process.
