I need help before i cry or go insane which ever occurs first!!! My dad has 2003 audi a3 the oil cooler went causing oil in coolant plenty of it too!! i replaced cooler flushed engine several times with good detergent!! now the car runs fine when revved and not moving also on idle is fine, as soon as you drive up the road the red coolant light flashes but temp stays const at 90. Also the top hose is slightly warm yet the bottom ones cold. when i remove the top hose with car running the coolant doesnt come out which doesnt seem ok?? the heater blows fairly warm too, Im at my wits end and after a genius to guide me in the right direction
Many thanks Wayne |

It sounds like something is blocked posibly the water pump gave up the gost but my main concerns would be how the oil got in to the coolent as I would have thought only the head gasket would have allowed that.
