Default Engine Management 7 Errors

Hello

I own a Audi A4 Avent FSI 2003 model, and after the engine managment light coming on I have had it diagnosed with 7 problems

I love this car but am now stuck with the decision to fix it or to part ex it for a new car.

Is there anybody who can give me any ideas what any of this means or your opinion on any major things on this list below??

P0507 - IDLE SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM

P1020 - FUEL PRESSURE CONTROL UPPER LIMIT EXCEEDED (ERROR INTERMITANT)

P0314 - MISSFIRE SINGAL CYLINDER INTERMITANT

P1151 - BANK 1 MIXTURE ADAPTION BELOW LEAN LIMIT

P1539 - CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH NOT PLAUSIBLE SIGNAL

P1504 - AIR ASPIRATION SYSTEM LEAK

I have been told that its the Throttle body causing all these problems and had it cleaned but it still hasn't made any difference.

Thanks
John

Looks like you have an air leak and it isnt uncommon to 2.0 fsi as the breather pipes and vac pipes are very brittle, also the vac pipes can collapse from servo suction as the fault p1151 and p1504 and p0507 are telling me this is the area to look at.Erase the fault codes and then check again when the engine management light comes on,i think the clutch switch fault isnt related and did the workshop readapt the throttle body.Try that lot first

Thanks for a fast reply a8

I haven't a clue when it comes to things like this, all I know is I love this car but don't know if I should pay to fix all the faults and hope it runs great again.

Any ideas on how expensive it may be???

Thanks again
John

a8 Tech, you were right with your diagnosis

My car has been into Audi and put onto the diagnosis machine.

They have told me that the pipes have air leaks which probably relate to the problems I am having, I have bought new pipes and hope to get these fitted next week sometime. After the pipes have been replaced Audi have said to come back in and put the car back onto the diagnosis machine.

Will keep you posted.

John
