Dodgy dash in 2001 A3
Copied from A3 forum as I think that this may not be model dependant as many dashes are similar
I have some gremlins in my dash ! The fuel guage has over-read by about 1/8 for a while but now it (an the other dials) have a habit of flicking up and down by about 10%. Also, every few weeks they all freeze and can only be unfrozen by disconnecting the battery. Audi quote £600 for a new dash but I was wondering if this was more a problem with an unsmoothed power supply. Can anybody shed any light ? Many thanks TB |
