Default a3 1.8t help

hi ive just bought my a3 and the management lights been on since i got it. i had the fault codes run and it comes up with , tank vent valve only my guy who done it hasnt got a clue where the valve is to replace it can anyone steer me in the right direction

Hi, it sounds like he could be looking for the EVAP valve. It should be located on the inner wing. It could be something as simple as a improperly closed fuel cap thats bringing up the fault. Did you get an actual code?
