Homelink Garage Door Opener _ Can it be Retro fitted
Can Homelink be Retro fitted ?
Had Homelink on last 3 Audi's. Just bought S5 demo car which has not got homelink. Dealer says it can not be fitted to car. I have asked Audi Parts dept to order parts so I can fit. Dealer says parts can not be ordered! I can't believe it. Anyone got any ideas please Cheers Braddy  |

The dealer is correct in there findings as audi will not approve retro fitting unless it has been agreed by audi germany and uk.Look at this site and it my help however may invlidate your warranty and make sure thesoftware version for your garage is at the correct version as the factory fit version isnt compatible with most homelink units and a universal fob is required,AudiWorld Tech Articles
