Can anyone help I have recently had error messages on my lights 1st was my headlight and then brake lights I have replaced all but now have a problem as follows.

With my lights switched off when i press the brake pedal a warning light for my headlight comes on and the right dipped healight lights up?

If i turn the lights on i get the brakelight warning signal everytime i press the brakes.

the computer reads OK when I turn the engine on. All the lights are working I dont know what to do next apart from take it to audi but if anyone has any idea what I have done Id be grateful

Hey Jacqui,

Ive only just joined, so sorry for the late reply, but i did exactly the same thing, i believe you have changed the brake light with the wrong type of bulb, you will need a dual filament bulb, as the brake light works as a side light as well, you must've put a single one in, which is shorting the connection. Take it out and compare it to the bulb on the opposite side, this should give you an idea of what you need
