Window Problem

I own a 1992 Audi 100s , and I am having problems with the windows, as they will not roll down. I have checked the fuse, and it is ok. I read that there could be a problem with the relay under the steering colum, so i took it off and observed a diagram for the relays, but it didn't have one for the windows. i did notice one for headlamp washers however, wich i do not have on my car. Perhaps the window relay was in place of the headlamp washer relay? In any case, what i saw didnt resemble the diagram much anyway, but if anyone has any advice on how to get my windows to operate again, please help.

Did you every get this problem with the windows fixed? I just bought a 100 Avant with the same problem.

i took it to a import auto place and they told me "minor electrical work was done " ...i figure it was probably just a loose ground wire because after i got it back everything worked including the interior lights and clock/
