instrument cluster
i have a 2001 1.8T a6. When I start it, the following happens:
date and time deiplay resets. Sometimes, the immobiliser doesn't deactivate for up to 2 minutes. Sometimes, the rev counter and speedometer needles dont work. If I remove and replace the display fuse, the needles then work fine until the next time. I want to sell this car but need to repair this fault first, any help gratefully received. Audi garage recommended a new instrument cluster, cost approx. €1,000. |
