My dipped headlights seem to give very poor visibility, I'm sure the light fittings are the original that came with the car back in 1999? (t-reg)
What is the best way to get a decent light? New bulbs or total new set of lights? And any specific suggestions? Thanks |

Hi,
We use my wifes A6 avant when towing and I think the lights are appalling. Did you get your problem resolved? I guess I could buy brighter bulbs but as the lights are so bad I wonder how much of an improvement we would get If you found a solution I would be grateful if you could pass it on. Kind Regards Steve |

It seems I already have the 50% halfords bulbs in, I've been recommended osram nightbreakers off ebay, 90% brighter. Or HID conversion kit.
When I took a look at the headlamps, I saw it was difficult to get behind the passenger side headlamp, so I haven't pursued it further yet.. I'd consider getting some osram's if I knew i could fit them. |
