This is probably the most annoying problem I have ever had. After my turn signal clicks back after being engaged the blinker continues to make the clicking sound for 10-15 seconds after. The lights do not blink on the console or outside the car it is just the constant clicking sound. I now have to blast my stereo in order to drown out the constant clicking. It is like something out of an Edgar Allen Poe poem. I am taking it in to the dealer on the 27th so any ideas that may save me some $ would be helpfull. I have a 01/02 A6.

hi --
sorry to hear this has happened to you, and its happened to me. i've replaced the hazard/emergency light switch, but the problem hasn't gone away. Audi Repair: audi tt blinkers clicking noise explains another repair to deal with that particular situation, but i'm just starting to try to figure out what the issue is -- please post as you figure out what's going on. my car is a 2001 a6 avant -- thanks |
