2003 A6 2.7? 113K miles?
Hello all! I am new here and I'm highly considering purchasing a used 2003 Audi A6 2.7 Sedan. Everything about the car is nice. The body is in great shape except for one small dent on the rear drivers side, which the dealer said he would fix, the interior is in (I would give it an 8), and the engine sounds and looks very clean. The car handles great, feels great and looks awesome. Basically what I'm getting at is that everything about the car has me convinced except for one issue. It has 113,000 miles on it. Now what I need to know is......For a car as well put together as Audi's and Volkswagons are, is 113K really alot of miles?? It just makes me sort of nervous to put up the $15K on a car with so many miles. I've heard from alot of people and I know from experience from previously owning Mercedes with high miles that they are buillt for high mileage. So, is this a car that I can depend on at this amount of miles? Or should I consider moving down a size and purchasing something with less miles?? I'd like to know what kind of problems I can expect (if any) at this mileage also. I would really appreciate any input that I can get on this. Because if it's a good idea, the dealer is holding the car for me until Tuesday then he's going to sell it if I don't buy it. So, what do ya think????
