V6 Tdi Problem
Hi.

I have a V6 Tdi A6(155 BHP) 2001, which recently developed a problem. I was driving on the motorway and everything was fine, then I lost power and smoke came from the exhaust.

To cut a long story short, it was recovered to a local independent, who after only taking off the inlet manifolds, has diagnosed that it needs another engine!!

Looking at the dip stick it is obvious that oil and water have mixed, the question is, are there any known faults, IE Head gasket problems, seals etc??

The car has done 70k.
