Default 2001 A6 Headlight cleaning.

A question to those who may have experience with faded headlight polycarbonate covers:

What have you found that works best at getting desert cooked headlights back to clear again?

My thanaks, in advance.

Polycarbonates can be tricky to polish, try a fine abrasive metal polish, or toothpaste. (i sparingly use a cotton flap wheel)

As always, test a small area first.

Thanks Ini, I've heard from someone else that toothpaste is the perfect abrasive, and relatively inexpensive.

I'll try it.
