Air Conditioning Problems

Hi I have a A6 2.5TDi. I cannot turn off the econ button thus not being able to activate air conditioning. Please can anyone give me some advice.

I have a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T.... when I turn on my air conditioning it does absolutely nothing... over the summer I drove to Phili which was about 2 1/2 hours away w/ the windows down because the air would not cool at all.. it was 100 degree weather... I don't believe that there is anything wrong w/ my vehicle but if anyone has any idea's it would be greatly appreciated

Your system might need re-gassing with new refrigerant as it would still work but it wont get cold!!

Can you hear the air con compressor kicking in or running when you set the temperature down to low??
