2001 audi s4 transmission problems please help

so i miss shifted and i lost first and second gear. even with the car off i cant shift into first and second gear. everything else i have no problems with. i went to jhmotorsports and it said something about a 1-2 shift collar that went bad so replacing that would that correct my problem or would i have to get the whole rebuild kit. and if i do it myself do i need a bearing press to swap out the shift collar? but i also read that it could be the pressure plate???? if anyone has ever had this problem or know the answer i would really appreciate the help. thanks

you prob lost the syncros or the collar, if you want to dump a lil more money id say rebuild the tranny kits go for like 1200 and you could drop the rpms in 6th for a little extra money.
