Electric windows going down by themselves?!?!?!

I have an A4 2.0 2002 reg.
Three times in the last week i've gone to the car to find both the drivers and passenger windows fully down.
I assume this is some sort of electrical fault but is not something i have ever heard of before.
Has anyone had the same problem and do you know how to rectify it.

Hi,
I had this happen in my A4 a couple of years ago - my alarm system went and the sunroof opened and closed on its own. I took it back to the dealer - they said it was common. Car was still under warranty so there was no charge

yep, I had this issue as well and it was a known fault and the Audi dealer repaired for free
