Morning all.....
Went to fill up the tank this morning, and the central locking isn't unlocking the filler cap, guess the solenoid or something has packed in. Is there a way I can manually open the filler cap? Is there access from inside the boot? Thanks |

In the boot of the car on the right near the lights you will need to remove the trim.
Once you have done that you need to stretch your hand behind the metal panel and feel for a fin shaft which will be the rod that locks the flap closed just pull it towards the light and it should unlock.

Thanks, I found another thread on this , and you can pop the little blanking plate just inside the boot by the rear of the lights, and there's a red ring that's connected to the release mechanism. I'm in!
Now I just need to work out which bit has packed in. |
