Smile Retrofit A4 06 center console in A4 05 model?

The A4 center console for 2006 models has a much better cupholder area (under the armrest) than the 2005 model. Will the rear section of the 2006 center console fit a 2005 A4? I am thinking of replacing mine to get the better cupholder.

I have heard of the whole dash being replaced but not part of it.

Red face A little more information

For me, the center console is the area between the two front seats. In this area (in my A4) there is the hand brake and the arm rest. Pictures of the 2006 A4 show two cup holders where the 2005 has just a few holding wells for maybe a pair of sunglasses or change (under the arm rest).

So I am wondering if the 2006 arm rest section would be able to fit in my 2005A4.

Miss read your question and did not relise you are talking the newer shape I would say at a guess it may be possible but like most Audi trim changes it's near on a all or nothing project.
