Just got my new RS4. It is spectacular. However on three occasions now while driving at highway speed on what may have been uneven road, my front end seemed to be disconnected from the steering wheel. It quickly resolved. ? tires? ? suspension? anyone with similar experience? Thanks

I would just get it inspected as it could be a number of thing but just check the wheel nuts are on tight.
Quick Fit will check the car for free then if it needs work go else where as I would not let them change a spark plug.

Dear Docurley,
Many thanks. i haven't experienced any recurrence recently and wonder if it just hit a patch of "bad road" .That's all that we seem to have here. I am bringing it back to the Dealer tomorrow for the checkup. Don't know about you but this is the best auto I have ever owned. All Porches and BMWs now past history. Thanks again. |
