Question Vibration under Torque

I have a 2002 A4 Quattro - with tiptronic and it recently started vibrating. It only seems to happen when I press on the gas pedal, if i take my foot off of the gas pedle the vibration goes away. It happens mostly at higher speeds or at least i can't notie it as much at lower speeds. I thought the vibration was due to a bad 1/2 axle (right front) so i replaced it. It seemed to fix the problem for a about 1/2 a day but the vibration has come back. I have also noticed that when I'm at a stop light, the car seems to have a slight vibration as well. If i put the car into nuetral the vibration stops or goes away. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this?
Please help.

duel mass flywheel bearing is busted, £600 or more for a new part,
or the torque converter has had it, £500 or more for a new one.

I replaced my left front 1/2 axle and the engine mounts which took care of the shudder/vibration while driving down the road. I still have a slight vibration when I'm at a stop light. I'm going to replace the spark plugs this weekend with the hope that it will fix the problem.

Hey,
I have a 2004 S4, with 62K miles. I experienced a slight vibration when making a turn either left or right. I took the car to the dealer and they replaced the left and right 1/2 axle.. This did not fix the problem. I took the car back right away. They put chasy ears on the car and said it was either the torque converter or transmission. Since this is a warranty issue, they would not fix it because they were not 100% sure ht it was. they said i would have to wait until the vibration to get worse.
Well 6 months later the problem is a ittle worse.
i am now in california, and hope the dealers here will be able to diagnose the problem. If you have had any new information i would like to here what happened. Like wise i will let you know what the dealer finds out as well. If anyone else has had this problem let us know.

Thanks~
Sean
