A4 1.8 quattro brakes

I think i need to replace my back brake pads. I have had the car 6 months it is an 04 plate, should i get an indicator light in the dash board? Where do i get original equipment from? how much am i looking to pay?

Help please

I believe only front brakes are equiped with sensors, so if your front brakes are done you will have an indicator ON. I'm from Canada and here your front end with rotors will cost you around 350$ labour included. thats aprox. 130$ for rotors, about 80$ for pads and 2 hr labour.

Thank you, I did think no one replied to these posts to those of us who are less mechanicaly minded. I think it may cost the same in £'s in the UK. It is my back brakes so I think I need to get it to a garage quick.
