Question best suspension set up

I just bought my Audi and I need some advice on what suspension set up is the best for this car. I would like to lower it about 2 inches. It's a 2001 A4 1.8t. Are there any brands I should stay away from?

There are lots of ways to do this and the best is Coilovers if you have the money the next is a shock and spring upgrade or if on a budget just lowered springs providing they are sport shocks to start with.

Question

What makes coilovers the best? Is it because the height can be adjusted? I keep seeing H&R sports springs with Beilstein (sp?) shocks. Are these the best brands to go with if I decide to go this route? And why do keep seeing Tein suspension for Audi's...that's something I would put on my GSR. ???Doccurly, I love the drop on your car, how much did you lower your car? Did you use coilovers?

Well a good set of Coilovers will adjust the hight and also allow you to setup the ride quality to soft or hard. If you go the shock setup then Beilstein with H&R springs is a good option but I would go with H&R race spings which I have with my OEM Sport shocks.

Thumbs up

Thanks...I appreciate the advice. I have been driving Honda's for about 9 years now, so that's pretty much all I know.

Question returned mail

Hi, I tried again and the mail was returned to me as undeliverable. Could you possibly look me up at AOL? Use the same screen name.
