As i work in the trade i would reccomend replacing it. During the last bout of heavy rain i had the rear part of my engine bay protection tray ripped off on a flooded road. I replaced it within a couple of days. The main purpose of these trays is to protect from general muck getting into the engine bay and to hlep stop things getting thrown up into the engine bay, they can also help a little with aerodynamic air flow.

I definalty recomend replacing it, think of the damage that would have been done to your car if the tray had already been missing. Ignition failure is very likely to happen if you get a lot of water thrown up there.

Mack.
