Alarm bleeps for no reason

Hi all you audi autobots out there, got a wee problem wae ma alarm goin mad and pissin ma neighbours off big style. I've got a 1999 A4 TDI 110 SE, had it from new, done 113,000 mls wae nae major problems, but last week the alarm started bleepin for no reason. It's got me stumped I'm havin to disconect the battery at night so the neighbours don't come kickin ma door in, in the middle of the night.
