Have a 2006 A4 Cabriolet. Does not have Bose installed. I've upgraded the front door component speakers as well as the two rear coaxial speakers. I'm now in the process of installing an amp along with 2 ea 8" JBL GTO 804's. I have all wiring completed for the amp. I would like to have the remote on for the amp activated when turning on the car radio but I'm unable to find a "remote-on" lead coming off the head unit. I'm presently using a lead off the fuse box that is only on when the key in turned to the on position. No big deal but still would like to be able to activate the amp by just turning on the head unit. BTW the head unit is the Audi NAV with 2 SD slots and the 6 CD player. Anyone have any ideas? If it would help, I can take out the head unit and take a pix of the wiring diagram affixed to the radio. No, it does not show a "Remote-On" lead but does have numerous lables that I have no idea what they are. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Get a simple earth circuit tester and use that should take no longer than 5 min to work out which wire does what.
