hi guys
need a favour, i know this would have been posted somewhere, however i've looked for it and i cant find a defenite answer at the moment i've got an A4 tdi 2002 with 16 " alloys, and the ride is great, really confortable, but now im wanting to upgrade my alloys, my initial reaction would be 18" upgrade, but i've heard that it would compromise the ride, and look out of place as I would have to touch the suspension as well,.....is this true? Really appreciate any help Thanks |

I also had 16" standards and ugraded to 18".
After the upgrade: 1. The steering felt heavier 2. Ride comfort was deffinitely compromised. Felt to stiff, too much road noise. 3. Fuel economy was also affected. I would recommend upgrade to 17" which i have done and it fells much better. So I have upgraded and then downgraded. |
