12v to 30v head swap?

are the 30v and 12v heads interchangeable, i have a 96 12v and am just wondering if i could get a pair of 30v heads to swap in?

I don't think so. You have 2 valves per cylinder and the 30 valve has 5. I don't think they are interchangeable but I may be wrong.

yeah i recently heard they arent interchangeable, i was just hoping it was like hondas and you could swap in a DOHC instead of the 12v SOHC, oh well, i can live with 12 valves, i'll be trading it in for a 4g eclipse after college anyways
