a4 cruise will not work

My cruise is not working. I turn it on but when I push the button to set speed it does not hold speed.

Which model A4 do you have ?? B5, B6 or B7 ??

I would suspect a problem with the clutch switch or brake light switch in this case.

You need to check activation via measyred value blocks.I suspect you dont have vag com so it to the dealer with you or independant.

ok I here this vag com all the time.........I seen a web site to download the program but was confused as to what one to down load.

i also had that problem and what i found out was that the cable that connects from the cruise control to the throttle body had some how come appart so all i needed to do was screw it back onto the throttle body
