Audi A4 diesel 1.9 (130) 2003 model - turbo problems?

Hi,

I own the above model. When the outside temperature gets above 18C/warms up the turbo stops working and it is like driving a tractor (slow). It seems temperamental, and seems to not work especially on warm days. Any ideas would be appreciated or do I need a new turbo unit?

I had a similar problem with a VW Passat TDI 2 years ago.
Took it to A VW independant garage and all that needed doing was to reconnect some pipe securelly under the bonnet. Total cost: Nothing
He just asked me if I would consider them for servicing my car.
Certainly did
