does anyone have a clue how you get access to the motor and tubes of the rear window wiper on a 2002 a4 avant?? I used to have an a3 and a similar thing happened (the pipe kept slipping off the outlet) but it was just 2 or 3 screws and the plastic cover on the inslide of the boot lid came off...
On the a4, I have removed 4 screws (2 either side and 2 inside the warning triangle compartment) and pulled down the 'furry' part of the cover...unfortunately, when pulling the cover down I have snapped one of the clip housings inside...anyway, this is where I am stumped....there doesnt seem to be anyway of getting to the gubbins of the rear wiper and pipes....any suggestions - diagrams etc... cheers |

Great things these tail gate trims.Sounds like all screws are out but you must remove the interior lights at the lid edge so you dont rip the wire out when you do the next part of applying downwards pressure in the centre of the loosened trim whilst levering around the sides with a flet edge to pop out retaining clips. Before Removing the trim look in the nsr luggage compartment below the light asthere is a connecting piece located there.Good luck when you put the trim back on that is more frustrating than removing
